Our Vision
Revolutionising the Future of Property Investment
At Social Yield Capital, we are committed to revolutionising the landscape of social housing in the UK. Our mission goes beyond mere investment; we strive to create sustainable, inclusive living environments that nurture the well-being of all residents while generating stable returns for our investors.
Our Approach
Quality Housing
We never compromise on the quality of our housing units. Every project is designed to exceed standards, ensuring longevity, comfort, and safety for all residents.
Inclusive Communities
We believe in creating more than just houses; we build communities. Our developments foster social interaction, support, and a sense of belonging among residents.
Sustainable Homes
Environmental responsibility is embedded in every decision we make, from material selection to energy systems, creating homes that are kind to both residents and the planet.
Positive Social and Environmental Impact
Apart from providing quality housing to society's most vulnerable, it is our priority to ensure that our investments generate returns for the environment as well as our stakeholders.
Led by the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG's), it is our mission to contribute towards the following through the provision of quality social housing:
Eliminate poverty and reduce inequality across society.
Ensure the health and well-being of all tenants by creating safe, positive home environments.
Make quality education accessible by ensuring that housing is close to schools, training centres and colleges and that those in Supported Housing receive the guidance they need for learning, training and employment opportunities.
Housing is made as energy efficient as possible, reducing energy bills for individuals and carbon emissions for surrounding communities.
Net Zero Carbon Emissions
In line with international obligations under the Paris Agreement, the UK's government has legislated for the country to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
According to the Climate Change Committee (CCC), household fossil fuel consumption to heat homes and water has been accounting for 13% of the UK's total carbon emissions.
For Registered Providers of social and affordable housing, the pathway to net zero outlined by the CCC recommends the retrofitting all housing, with the vast majority of energy efficiency improvements being completed by 2035. All social homes must reach an EPC rating of C by 2028, aiming to bring all social housing up to this level by 2030.
